Logging Into Your Chromebook from Home:

Sign out and shut down your Chromebook before leaving school
Connect to your home WIFI
Log in to the Chromebook:

Username: 123456789@student.cms.k12.nc.us (student's actual ID#)

Student Password: whatever you've been using at school

Once you enter a website, you will encounter CMS Zscaler filtering (green) screen.

Username: 123456789@student.cms.k12.nc.us (student's actual ID#)

You are now ready to use your Chromebook.

NCEdCloud Login Procedure:

Enter my.ncedcloud.org in the address bar (do not use a bookmarked page or do a google search)
Username: 123456789
Password: whatever you've been using at school.

How do I check my school gmail?

How do I manually update my Chrome OS?

At the bottom right, select the area where time is located. Select Settings .
At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS.
Select Check for updates.
If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically and you will need to restart your Chromebook when complete.

How to clear cache/cookies on my Chromebook?

Click clear cache/cookies.
