Welcome

Dear Bain Families and Community,

I am honored and overjoyed to serve as principal of Bain Elementary!

During my career in education, I have been an elementary teacher, academic facilitator, Dean, Assistant Principal, and Elementary Equity Specialist. I have truly loved every position I’ve had as they have all provided me with invaluable experiences,  lessons, and memories. In addition to my career, I am also a parent of two children, Garrett and Charlie. As a parent and an educator, I know how critical it is to know your child is cared for, supported, engaged, and thriving at school. I feel extremely fortunate that I will have the opportunity to make this happen for all our kids!

Bain is an integral part of the Mint Hill community and has an incredible foundation. One of my commitments is to build your trust in me as the leader of Bain. I look forward to listening and learning about Bain from your insight and perspective. This information will be invaluable in order for us to build sustainability, continue to grow, and move forward.

Our mission is “To Challenge and Prepare All Students for Future Success”. Together, we will make this happen!

Please feel free to contact me through email (kathrynj.pedrotty@cms.k12.nc.us) or phone (980-343-6915).
