Curriculum Night Grade Level Presentations

Click here to view grade level presentations. During our Curriculum Night event, grade levels will share additional ways families can support Collinswood students at school and at home.

Curriculum Night In-Person Events

Please mark your calendar for our K-4 and 5-8 Curriculum Nights.  Kindergarten through Fourth grade families will join us on Tuesday, 9/13 from 5:15-7:00 PM.  Fifth through Eighth grade families will join us on Tuesday, 9/20 from 5:15 - 7:00 PM.   The focus of our sessions will be to provide ways for families to support children at school and at home.  In addition to having opportunities to learn from your child’s teachers, the following choice sessions will be offered:

  • Dual Language 101:  Learn the nuts and bolts about Dual Language Programs and the CMS Magnet Compact from Principal Rodd and Collinswood’s Magnet Coordinator, Sra. Perez.

  • Anti-bullying:  Learn how CMS defines and addresses bullying from Lillian Burgess, School Counselor, and Jon Concelman, CMS Bullying Prevention Specialist.

  • Multilingual Learner:  This session is for students identified as Multilingual learners and their families.  Ms. Moua and Ms. DeLuca will share strategies to support students who are learning English.
