Crestdale Middle School will prepare all students to become innovative problem solvers as they incorporate critical thinking skills, advanced technological applications, and effective communication skills to enable them to succeed in the 21st century.


Crestdale Middle School will establish an enriching environment with innovative and progressive educational experiences. We will create life-long learners who are prepared to be productive, contributing members of society.

North Carolina 2011-12 Honor School of Excellence:
Symbol of Honor School of ExcellenceEach year, schools in North Carolina may receive several designations based on their performance on the state's ABCs tests. These designations are awarded on the basis of the percentage of students performing at grade level and on whether the school attained the ABCs growth standards. For the 2011-2012 school year, Crestdale Middle School was awarded the designation of Honor School of Excellence with 92.6 percent our students achieving Level III. Additionally, Crestdale Middle School achieved its Annual Measureable Objectives.

Logo of A School to WatchSchools to Watch® is an initiative launched by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform in 1999. The Schools to Watch® program identifies and honors schools nationally so all might learn how to achieve academic success through best practices for all young adolescents. Sites selected as Schools to Watch exemplify the National Forum’s vision and serve as resources for other schools. Crestdale Middle School was honored to be named "A School to Watch" in 2009.
