GRADUATION: JUNE 16TH 12PM (BOJANGLES COLISEUM)

  • The ceremony is going to start promptly at 12pm

    • Report Times:

      • Senior Homeroom Teacher- 10:30AM 

      • Graduates- 10:45AM 

      • General Staff (NON-SENIOR HOMEROOM)- 11:00 AM 

    • Students will line up in the hallway connector between Ovens Auditorium and Bojangles Coliseum. Staff will process in the ceremony BEFORE the graduates. 

  • Graduation is a dignified event. Staff should dress accordingly. Tennis shoes, flip flops, blue jeans, and shorts are not appropriate dress. Staff DO wear gowns. You can wear your own if it is BLACK and your academic/graduate hood. If you do not have your own, you will borrow one from the main office.

Attention Seniors! Please mark your calendars for this IMPORTANT date for Graduation Rehearsal. Please reference the graduation website at bit.ly/emgrad22 for any questions.

Parents of graduates, please visit the East Mecklenburg Graduation Website for details and updates about graduation. The website is bit.ly/emgrad22 . Also, please review the attached presentations and memos that were sent to students during homeroom. These documents are also located on the East Mecklenburg Graduation Website under Senior Homeroom Teacher Information. Please pay specific attention to the name submission process. This was due on May 13th but has been extend. Please complete this ASAP. Specific Reminders are that Graduation Rehearsal is June 6th at 4pm at Bojangles Coliseum. Graduates should report no later than 3:45pm. Attendance will be checked at exactly 4PM. Failure to arrive and arrive on time will result in not being able to participate in commencement exercises. Graduation is June 16th at 12pm at Bojangles Coliseum. Graduate attendance will be checked at 10:45AM, graduates should arrive around 10:30AM in order to make the 10:45AM roll call.
