Digital Citizenship

Elon Park Elementary Digital Citizenship Vision

At Elon Park Elementary School, we work with our students to be responsible, safe, and respectful citizens in the world.  We believe it is just as important for our students to develop those same qualities in the digital world.  Since technology is part of our school, play, and everyday lives, children need to understand how to safeguard their personal information, how to treat others respectfully, and how to act responsibly while using any technology device.

We are using the curriculum from Common Sense Media to engage our students in discussions and activities that will empower them to make good decisions when using technology.  Our hope is that every student in Kindergarten through 5th grade at Elon Park Elementary School will become a respectful, responsible and safe digital citizen.
