Admission and Continuation Requirements

Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences is tailored for students interested in pursuing a biomedical profession.  It is highly recommended that students have a strong math and science background for the rigorous curriculum of Project Lead the Way (PLTW). 

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Biomedical Sciences lays the foundation for success by challenging students to problem-solve, think critically and creatively, communication ant collaborate with others, and to persevere to find solutions to real-world problems. 

Transportation will be provided if the magnet school serves the student's identified transportation zone or is a county-wide magnet program.

 

Continuation Requirements:

To remain in good standings at Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences, students must pass their Health Science Academy related courses each year.
