Students create their own clubs. Some of the most popular clubs are listed below. There is always room for more to discover. 

 

Clubs and Activities offered at Hawthorne:

 

HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) 

The mission of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students, therefore, helping the student meet the needs of the health care community.  Advisors:   

Art

The Art Club's mission is to provide students an opportunity to express individuality through the creation of artwork for the community, school and self. 

Soccer

To provide an environment where students can learn the importance of teamwork, communication and endurance through the game of soccer. 

Student Council 

The Student Council of Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences aims to promote a sense of community within the school and to act as a voice for the students with administration.  

Basketball 

Mission:  To advance character, dedication and team building skills through basketball while learning the fundamentals of the game.
