Hickory Grove United Methodist Church - Weekly snack bag donations for families, coat/uniform donations, holiday family sponsorships

Hickory Grove Baptist Church- Facilities for quarterly planning sessions w/teachers, staff appreciation, clothing and food donations, school improvement projects, holiday family sponsorships, volunteering with PTO events

Trees Charlotte, NASCAR Green, Elgin-Beautification Project to plant trees all over the entire campus, NASCAR Green provided STEM instructional supports for our 5th grade science classroom

BB&T- Partner for our PTO, Social Committee, and school bank accounts

Assistance League of Charlotte-Uniforms for students: Operation School Bell

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America-Present to students, provide information nights at HGES for parents to get their children involved in these programs

YMCA-Y Readers Program which yielded high growth in reading

Family First & Cano Family Services-Counseling Services for Students & Families w/Cano focusing on our Spanish-Speaking students/families

Northstar Reading Initiative-volunteers from the community and the school district tutor our third grade students in reading

UNCC-Students of the University come into the school to complete clinical hours as well as support classroom instruction

Girls on the Run-Program after school for our girls in the upper grades to promote fitness as well as a strong self-esteem
