This year because of changes in student transportation, CMS has instituted a 2 hour delay option for all schools. This option will help us avoid using so many make-up days. Below you will find 2 hour delay information that is specific to Highland Creek Elementary School.
School Hours for Students
9:30-10:00 – Morning Arrival
10:00-3:00 – School Day and regular Dismissal
General Information
· CMS will notify families of the 2 hour delay or school cancellation by 5:30 AM.
· The Before and After School hours will remain the same as a regular school day when there is a 2 hour delay. Parents may drop their children off beginning at 7:00 AM and should pick them up in the afternoon no later than 6:00 PM.
· When there is a 2 hour delay, all buses will run their normal route beginning 2 hours later than their usual stop schedule.
