How Can I help?

There are many ways for you to get involved in our terrific school.

We would love to have volunteers to:

  • serve in the front office as interpreters;
  • translate our school communications in other languages;
  • help our families with limited English at school events;
  • help teachers with bulletin boards;
  • spend time in the media center, shelving books;
  • serve as math tutors;
  • read with children;
  • serve as a lunch buddy; and
  • much, much more!

Simply tell us your strength and we will help you get involved :-)  It truly takes ALL of us working together to achieve greatness.

Another way to support Idlewild is to join PTA and participate at events. PTA works hard to plan events for families and your talents are greatly needed and much appreciated.

We also need parents on our School Leadership Team (SLT). For more information about our SLT, please select the School Leadership Team link on the left side of the Idlewild homepage.
