Uniforms, grading policy and supply lists

School Uniform Policy: 

The uniform policy was relaxed during the 2020-2021 school year; however, the school uniform policy will be a consistent expectation for the 2022-2023 school year. 

 J. H. Gunn is a uniform school for all students every day.  The uniform consists of: 

  • navy blue or white shirts 

  • khaki or navy blue pants 

  • khaki or navy blue shorts (of appropriate length) 

  • khaki or navy blue skirts, dresses, or jumpers (of appropriate length) 

 

Students should not wear the following: 

  • blue jeans or denim of any type (We will notify students and parents of designated jean days.) 

  • ripped pants or baggy pants that sit below the waist 

  • shirts with print, emblems, or pictures 


Remember, the last 3 items mentioned are NOT permitted. 

Students are reminded to wear belts when needed
