Middle School Athletics Program

GVSA Sports 

Governors’ Village Stem Academy Athletics are played joined with James Martin Middle School as one team. GVSA Athletes take a CMS bus chaperoned by Athletic Director, Lowen Wray over to James Martin Middle School after school for tryouts, practices, and games. All tryouts, practices, and home games will be played at James Martin Middle School fields and gym. Parents are not to transport student-athletes over to James Martin for tryouts, practices, or home games, but are required to pick student-athletes up at James Martin.

CMS MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR

We are digital. All forms MUST be completed and submitted digitally to try-out. To register for sports you must use Dragonfly, the RED  box at the top of JAMES MARTIN ATHLETIC page. 

Please choose ALL the sports that you think your child will play this year so that you will have to fill the forms out one time. All forms must be completed online, apart from the physical/examination form.


Requirements for Participation


​- 2.0 GPA in the previous semester.
- Currently in the 7th or 8th grade.
- Current student at GVSA.
- Completed Physical, Athletic Packet, and Registration Google Form

Students must have a completed registration prior to trying out for a sport at James Martin. Please use the link to register online.

Note: Physical forms need to be completed at the physician's office, everything else on packet can be completed electronically. Physicals must have a stamp from the location where the physical was completed.
