Dress Code

The guidlines for the Long Creek Dress Code are as follows:


School Appropriate Dress Code

  • Clothes that do not cause a distraction

  • Size appropriate

  • Clothes and shoes should be comfortable (athletic shoes and clothing on P.E. Days)

  • Long shorts, skirts, capris, or pants are acceptable

    • Shorts and skirts need to be an appropriate length, reaching mid-thigh or longer

    • Pants should have no rips showing skin above the knee


Clothing Not Appropriate for School

  • Open-toed shoes (such as flip-flops or slides)

  • Spaghetti straps or sleeveless dresses or shirts

  • Short skirts, dresses, or shorts (above mid-thigh)

  • Clothing with inappropriate graphics or designs

    • Anything that will cause a distraction in the classroom

  • Hats and hoods being worn in the building
  • If students come to school dressed inappropriately, parents will be called and asked to bring a change of clothes
