Open House at Merry Oaks International Academy (Grades K-5)

Our Open House is scheduled for each grade level below at the scheduled dates and times below. The staggered dates are to ensure we provide each family with close care and attention while keeping all families and scholars safe. However, we are encouraging ALL families to attend in person as you will receive the following pertinent information for the first day of school.

The following items will be given to families during our Open House:

Bus Transportation Tag Information for your Scholar (you will need this for the first day of school)

Free Backpack for Each Scholar

Teacher Welcome Back Letter - with curriculum information for each scholar

Principal Welcome Back Letter

Technology Form, Emergency Contact Form, Uniform Policy Form. All forms Must be signed by the parent and returned back to the teacher during Open House.

Open House - Dates and Times

Teachers will call each family prior to the upcoming school Open House dates to welcome you and introduce themselves and provide you with the date to come in with your scholar. If you have scholars in multiple grade levels, feel free to attend multiple nights or bring additional family members to attend each classroom meeting for each sibling. Each Open House is scheduled from 4:30pm-5:30pm.

Kindergarten - September 1, 2022 (See Staggered Entry Information Below)

Extensions and 3rd Grade-August 23, 2022

1st Grade and 4th Grade- August 24, 2022

2nd Grade and 5th Grade- August 25, 2022

All Kindergarten classrooms in CMS start the school year as a staggered entry to provide transition time for both the parent and student to enter school at the start of the school year. Please see the staggered entry dates listed below for this school year. Your designated date will be sent via mail in our Kindergarten Welcome Packets in the coming weeks! Staggered entry dates, and first day of school date are listed below.

Staggered Entry Dates:

August 29th, 30th, and 31st (All staggered entry information will be sent home via mail)

September 1, 2022-Kindergarten Open House (4:30pm-5:30pm)

September 2, 2022- First Day of School for Kindergarten
