MONTHLY COUNSELING NEWSLETTER

Attention 8th grade students and families!

The Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences (HAHS) has reserved two days as Shadow Days for eighth graders and we have spaces available for 20 shadows on each day:

10/27/2016 and 02/15/2017 from 7:10AM to 2:10PM.

Shadows will need to arrive on time in order to be paired with their assigned student ambassador (a 9th or 10th grader)  and they will be expected to attend class with their ambassador and remain for the duration of the day.

Keep in mind that HAHS is a wall-to-wall magnet academy focused on college preparation and healthcare careers. A 7th grade Math EOG score of 3 or greater is required for entry as is a keen interest in healthcare, biomedical studies, and medical topics.
