Outdoor Classroom

The Mountain Island Elementary Outdoor Classroom was created in 2008 by Kirsten Hall and the PTA Beautification Committee. This is a Nationally Certified Schoolyard Habitat.

There are several areas surrounding our school where students can learn about nature.
