Volunteers

Volunteers are welcome and needed at Mountain Island!

Our PTA has many opportunities for everyone to volunteer to support our school.  We need volunteers in many capacities. We would like to have a high degree of volunteer involvement at Mountain Island Lake Academy.  We hope you will become a MILA volunteer!!

Become part of our team!

To volunteer as a tutor, chaperone for field trips, lunch buddy, and/or read with a student/class, you must fill out a volunteer profile.   Volunteers at any CMS school must register online to become a volunteer.  You can register for more than one school, too.  Please contact CMS Law Enforcement, if you have questions about your background check.

After you register, you will receive a volunteer login/password and from that login, you will be able to record the number of hours you volunteer each day at our school.

Register online to volunteer at our school.

* All visitors are required to sign in at the front desk upon arrival.

*  Please log your volunteer hours!  There is a computer in the office that has been set aside just for volunteers to use to log their hours. Some volunteers find it easiest to log their hours by the week instead of every day.
