About Our School

STEM Program Integration at Paw Creek Elementary School

Paw Creek Elementary School is a STEM Magnet school with a Computer Science Immersion focus. We serve students from the Coulwood Community as well as students from the violet and blue transportation zones. We offer a school-wide focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with Computer Science Immersion where students engage in hands on learning opportunities in fun and exciting ways. At Paw Creek Elementary we are working to prepare students for jobs of the future.

Paw Creek Elementary School is located in the western quadrant of Mecklenburg County and is part of the West Learning Community-West Meck feeding pattern for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS). Our school has a diverse population with an approximate enrollment of 725 students in grades PreK-5.
