Greetings Paw Creek Families,


Paw Creek is a place like no other.  As the best kept secret just a short drive from the uptown area and nestled in the western corridor of Charlotte, we are an elementary school serving Pre-K through 5 S.M.A.R.T students.  Our corridors are bursting with courageous and resilient boys and girls and commissioned and committed men and women who together are committing to engage in work each and every day that empowers our students and pushes them beyond limits that they even knew were possible for themselves.  While we certainly have a bullseye focus on ensuring that our students are well-versed and exceed proficiency in the intricacies of reading, writing, speaking, mathematics and the social and natural sciences, we have our gaze fixed on ensuring that we equip our school community with the information, opportunities and advocacy that we all need to identify, cultivate and lift our leadership voices as we shape the lives of our strong children that will change the world. 

We are proud of the diversity and the rich heritage of our school community and we know that this will indeed serve us well as we aim to move each of our most worthy students along their individualized life's path.  At Paw Creek, we believe in the gift of "the moment," and we realize the honor that we have to serve each and every student, parent, neighbor, friend and community partner that crosses our paths. We are poised and ready for the powerful work and journey that lies ahead of us as we know that we are not simply educators, students, parents and partners.  In fact we are warriors, champions and heroes just primed and ready to launch.  At Paw Creek our mission is to not only shift the narrative, but to cause a revolution that brings about change... not just change for the good, not just change for the better... but change for the best because better is no longer good enough. 

As we open up the 2021-2022 School Year at Paw Creek Elementary School, know that "we are inspired to inspire because the inspired have inspired us." As your Assistant Principal, I am charged to make sure that your child is safe, having fun and learning at HIGH levels. Please let me know if we are not meeting the mark. We look forward to serving you this year and are excited and ready for all of the great things that will happen this year.

saludos Paw Creek familias, 


estoy muy honrado y emocionado de unirse a la familia de Paw Creek como su nuevo subdirector. He sido educador en el CMS durante 13 años. He servido en diferentes capacidades, incluyendo un maestro, un facilitador académico, un gerente de programa de escuela de verano y un Decano de estudiantes. Soy una maestra certificada de Junta Nacional y certificaciones en dirección de la escuela, la lectura (especialista) y ESL. Yo soy originalmente de Charlotte y estoy casada con un hombre maravilloso, Jermaine, con dos hijos increíbles, Jermaine Jr. y Carter. Como el nuevo Subdirector, es mi misión para motivar, inspirar y propulsar a cada miembro de nuestra familia escolar en lugares de excelencia continua. Paw Creek está llena de gran potencial superan con creces las expectativas y producir aprendizaje y dirigentes que se niegan a ser promedio, superando obstáculos y senderos ardiente que hacen gran impacto en nuestra comunidad y más allá.
