About Our School

Piedmont Middle School is. . . 

a 6th through 8th grade public magnet school located in uptown Charlotte. We provide all of our students with a challenging and intellectual climate where they are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and behavior. Piedmont's strong International Baccalaureate academic program is provided in an environment that encourages innovation, experimentation and real-life application is supported by a strong cultural and performing arts program.
