School Improvement Plan

To access our School Improvement Plan, visit www.indistar.org and use the guest username and password: GuestS16818 - GuestS16818. Guest Access will allow stakeholders to review the School Improvement Plan, School Improvement Team members (with date of election), Agendas, and Meeting Minutes. Once inside the platform, please select the second tab, labeled “Reports/ Wise Ways/ Indicators & Rubrics.” Then select “Comprehensive Report,” located in the Student Success Indicators box.

The state of North Carolina monitors school performance using data from End of Grade/Course tests. We did not have these tests last school year due to COVID-19, but the designations in place from the previous school year remain. QHMS was selected as a TSI school due to one sub-group (Students with Disabilities/EC) not meeting the state expectation for proficiency. It should be noted that our EC subgroup did meet expected growth in 2019 as measured by EVAAS.

A letter with more information is attached and will be posted to our school website in the School Improvement Plan section for your reference.
