Dear Reid Park Academy Families, 

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff at Reid Park Academy, I would like to welcome you to the 2021/2022 school year!  After quite an unusual 2020/2021,  I am committed to ensuring we have a transformational school year. We will be GOING FOR GOLD THROUGH TRANSFORMATION! One of the biggest levers of this transformation will be around student culture and cultivating student joy in the learning process. We will continue our focus on the social and emotional well being of our scholars, as this serves as the foundation for academic success at Reid Park and beyond. 

The success of your scholar(s) is deeply personal to me and the entire Reid Park Academy staff. We believe that your scholar(s) can and will achieve. We will not allow your scholar to give up and we will have high expectations of your scholar(s). Your scholar(s) matters and the work we do together with your scholar in the classroom matters. We are looking for our scholars to have gold medal performances in the areas of academics, behavior, and attendance.

Parents/guardians are an integral part of the transformation process. We encourage all families to engage in educational experiences with their scholars. Please join the PTO and give 10 hours at Reid Park Academy for the 2021-2022 school year. Throughout the school year we will have many opportunities for families to engage in learning with their scholars. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities. We look forward to a full house at our curriculum nights, Student-Led Conferences, and school-wide performances.
