Character Education

Character Education is a Foundation of Dilworth Elementary

In addition to learning the three R's of reading, writing and arithmetic, Dilworth students also will be exposed to a strong character education program to promote right character and values.  Opportunities for children to practice good character will be provided through service learning projects (look for exciting information on that front to be coming out soon) as well as in day-to-day interactions in the classroom and throughout the school.

We will be following the CMS calendar of monthly character traits to be highlighted.

Parents will be receiving longer monthly newsletters through the Wednesday folders that will give you a tool for discussing the character traits at home.
