Mission Statement

Through integration of social and emotional practices, curriculum alignment, and responsive teaching, students will receive relevant and engaging instruction to support their mastery of academic standards.  Sedgefield Middle School have identified core values that it believes in for both student and staff:

  • Focus on whole-child initiatives to support the positive development of scholars

  • Utilization of data to create responsive academic instruction

  • Embedding social and emotional strategies into daily instruction

  • Empowering critical thinking skills to build global citizenship

  • Prepare each scholar for all high school and post-secondary opportunities
