7th grade NC Immunization Requirements

 

Tdap vaccine-7th Grade students are now required to have a booster dose of Tdap vaccine

Meningococcal vaccine– one dose is required entering the 7th grade or by age 12, whichever comes first.


Compliance Deadline
Students will be given 30 days from the first day of enrollment to meet this requirement. Please schedule your child’s appointment today with your primary care provider.  You may also receive immunizations at the Mecklenburg County Health Department.

 

K-12 School Requirements

 

North Carolina law requires all children in the state to receive certain immunizations.  Records are checked when children enter school or child care.
