Kylene Collins was named principal at Starmount Academy of Excellence, February 2022. She has been Assistant Principal at Huntingtowne Farms Elementary since 2018 and was Dean of Students at Merry Oaks International Academy from 2016-2018. She also was a facilitator from 2014-2016 and a teacher from 2006-2014 at Paw Creek Elementary. Collins earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and music from Elon University, Elon, and a master's degree in school administration and leadership from Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs.
