Volunteering at Starmount Academy of Excellence
We are asking every parent who is going to visit or volunteer at Starmount Academy of Excellence this year to register on the CMS Volunteer Management System. This system provides us with a database of volunteers, and helps CMS and Starmount Academy of Excellence with school safety.
You can register online on the CMS Volunteer Management System at
CMS Volunteers. Everyone who registers is automatically entered as a Level 2 volunteer. If you want to be a Level 3 or 4 volunteer (i.e. if you plan to attend field trips or tutor students), you must check "OK" to perform a background check and enter your date of birth, social security number, and driver's license number.
Once you are registered, please sign in on the computer on the front counter in the school office. You should log in as a volunteer every time you come to school to volunteer or eat lunch with your child. Also, please sign in on the visitor log (also on the front counter) and get a name badge for safe school purposes.
