As we kick off the 2021-2022 school year, I would like to say how excited I am to return IN PERSON to Thomasboro Academy!  What a time we have been through since March, 2020.  It has been wonderful to see faces (with masks) in the hallways over the summer and I look forward to getting back to any type of normalcy that we possibly can!  With that being said, we will continue to take all precautions to keep all of our students, staff, and school stakeholders safe in the upcoming school year. 

It is hard to believe that I am moving into my second decade at Thomasboro Academy as the Principal.  I have no doubt that year 11 will be magical!  We have made gains every year and this year will be no different. We have a lot of work to do to get everyone back on track and this staff is poised and ready to do what it takes to make that happen.  It is so exhilarating to watch the students grow and learn throughout the years. 

I hope everyone has enjoyed summer and is ready to come back to learn on August 25^th.  Our Open House dates will be released as soon as we receive direction from the district on what we are able to do in person; however, we will continue to post video and have virtual meetings for those families that need that option due to health concerns or work schedules.  This information will be on our website, our Thomasboro Facebook page, and our Thomasboro Instagram page.  If you have not followed our school social media, please do!

Students return on August 25^th.  

Holiday on September 6^{th -}  No School

Teacher workday on September 16^th – No school for students

October 6^th early release day for students

Last day of the first quarter October 29^th
