I am so excited to be joining the Lion Family! On behalf of the Administration, Teachers, and Staff of West Charlotte High School, I would like to officially welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! Our staff is busy preparing for the start of the school year and we are so excited to welcome each of our new and returning scholars to the Lion Pride!  This is a historic year as we officially transition and start our first year in the brand new building of West Charlotte High School. We are also adding a new dance & theater program. With state of the art technology, learning spaces designed for the future, and new facilities, we can’t wait for your scholar and your family to experience this new building!

We are looking forward to an incredible year of providing our scholars with the skills necessary to succeed in life beyond high school! We are also looking forward to strengthening our collaborative partnership with scholars, families, and the community to help continue to make West Charlotte High School an outstanding, safe, and joyful educational environment for your child. There was a lot to celebrate last year and we look forward to creating a new theme around an “Expectation of Excellence!

One important thing we must focus on to reach Excellence is attendance (see attached flyer). This coming school year it will be imperative that your scholar attends school everyday and is on time. If your scholar misses 10 or more school days they will be in danger of failing the course.
