We believe in the saying "it takes a whole village" when it comes to helping our students grow academically and emotionally.  Therefore, Whitewater Academy is actively recruiting volunteers. If you have at least an hour a week, or every two weeks, you are invited to become a Whitewater Academy Volunteer.  Volunteers are needed to help our students with reading, math, and writing, as well as to serve as a mentor or lunch buddy. If you prefer to work in another capacity, we need your help in the office, media center, cafeteria, or in the classroom providing clerical assistance to our teachers.  In order to become a volunteer, you will need to complete the following registration form: CMS Volunteer Registration Form

We would like to extend a huge thank you to West Moreland Baptist Church for the support they have given us!  Many members have been volunteering in classrooms and donating items that help our students!

Mountain Island Branch of the Public Library

Thank you to the Mountain Island Branch of the Public Library for supporting us as we encourage students to get library cards and make use of the excellent resources that they have to offer! 

West Mecklenburg Volunteer Fire Department

Many thanks to the West Mecklenburg Volunteer Fire Department for being lunch buddies with our Kindergarten students!

Simply tell your cashier (during their check-out) that you want #7425 (Whitewater Academy) linked to their Harris Teeter VIC card.  Once the account number is linked, every time you shop during the program, 2% of your Private Label purchases will be contributed by Harris Teeter to the Whitewater's account. Click on: Harris Teeter for directions to linking your card.​
