Student of the Month

We are so excited to celebrate our Dolphins of the Month!

This month we focused on Compassion and how we can show compassion to one another even in a difficult time.

Please help us celebrate the following students for their outstanding Compassion!

Pre K: Lucas from Ms. Campbell's Class

Lucas Hernandez is always the first to help one of his classmates. When a new student comes in he makes sure they know where to sit on the carpet, stand in line, and helps them at their seat.

Kindergarten: Tashaun from Ms. Stitt's Class

Tashaun is always wanting to help his classmates.  He makes sure they understand what I am asking of them.  He assures them that everything is going to be okay.  Tashaun has good manners and he is very compassionate towards everyone.  He is a joy to have in class.

1st Grade: Lhiana from Ms. Ellington's Class

Lhiana is always kind and encouraging to her classmates.  When she sees another student struggling she always offers help.  She motivates her classmates to do their best!

3rd Grade: Avery from Ms. Rhodes' Class

I am so honored to nominate Avery for demonstrating the character trait of compassion. Avery has a huge heart for everyone around her. In class, Avery is the first person to get everyone to collaborate on work together. She ensures each voice is heard in our room by asking how others may feel or think. Avery She is very aware of those around her and has character that inspires others to be the best version of themselves. Avery is a joy to be around and is always looking out for the people around her.

4th Grade: Jair from Ms. Reid and Ms. Midkiff's class

jair 2.jpeg

Jair is the most compassionate and positive student that we have come across in a long time.  He always says hello and good-bye to everyone with the happiest disposition.  During class, Jair cheers everyone on and congratulates his peers when they do well.  Likewise, Jair shows genuine concern when others are down and struggling.  Ms. Reid and Ms. Midkiff cannot start their day without Jair cheering them on.

5th Grade: Ariana from Ms. Hance and Mr. Otto's class

Ariana is always being very kind to other students.  She makes everyone feel welcome, even my new student.  She always says "Thank you" and is very respectful.

We are so excited to celebrate these awesome individuals!!

Next month, we will focus on Integrity!
