CMS families are encouraged to have their children immunized for the 2020-2021 school year. Vaccines and health assessments are required by the state for children to attend school.

Vaccinations are required for students entering kindergarten, seventh grade and 12th grade. Families may receive more information from their doctor, school nurse or the Mecklenburg County Health Department, 704-336-6500, which has vaccine-only appointments.
